Introduction to NAFDAS: A National Framework
The National Fire Detection and Alarm System (NAFDAS) is Nigeria’s centralized digital fire detection and emergency signal integration platform. It unifies life safety systems across public and private infrastructure into a single monitored national network.
NAFDAS is not merely an alarm reporting tool. It is a structured integration architecture that connects detection devices, suppression systems, alarm panels, monitoring dashboards, and fire service dispatch units through automated communication channels.
We eliminate structural weakness by enabling automatic signal transmission from property-level life safety systems directly to a centralized command environment. Once a threat is detected, the device triggers locally, the signal is encrypted and transmitted, the central monitoring dashboard receives the alert, and location data is mapped instantly before a single physical call needs to be made.
